Strathroy-Caradoc Provides Free Access to Local Art, Heritage and Culture

Posted On Wednesday April 04, 2018

As part of an ongoing commitment to inclusive programming and community engagement, Museum Strathroy-Caradoc is excited to unveil its new Insiders program! This free loyalty program is the Museum’s most recent innovation and is designed to allow timely access to new exhibits and information so area families, researchers and all those who are curious about local history, can stay up-to-date and informed.

Museum Insiders will receive:

  • Information on upcoming exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events through via a e-newsletter;
  • Members-only invitations to special events and programs;
  • A 10% discount on items from the gift shop; and
  • Discounts on selected museum events and programming.

Through this initiative, Museum Strathroy-Caradoc seeks to engage local and area residents, build long-term relationships with visitors, and promote community participation. Free and available to anyone who wishes to join, the Insiders program will replace the former paid membership program and offer several additional benefits. It is designed to make access to Strathroy-Caradoc's history, and arts and cultural heritage, more affordable and open to all.

“Along with free general admission, the Insiders program invites more of our community to become invested in their local museum, forging a deeper connection through the many exhibitions, programs, and events we offer,” said Lindsay Kernohan, Curator. “Our goal is to promote the discovery of our community’s stories, and to be accessible to everyone.”

Information and registration is available at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc, located at 34 Frank Street in Strathroy, by calling 519-245-0492, or online at www.strathroymuseum.ca.
