    SPECIAL EVENTS

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc hosts a variety of special events throughout the year to engage the public in Museum activities and services, educate the community about the work that we do, and raise funds to support our mission.

    Antiques Appraisal Show

    ANTIQUES APPRAISAL SHOW 2009
The staff of the museum would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the community for making our very first Antiques Appraisal Show a fantastic success. In particular we thank our appraisers and volunteers. As a non-profit organization, the Museum depends upon volunteers and community support to make any project a success. All funds raised from this event support Museum activities and educational programming for the community. We hope it was a fun and informative day for everyone, and one we hope to repeat in the future. Click here for more information about this exciting event, held on Saturday, August 8, 2009.

    Silent Night Auction 2007

REVAMPED AUCTION RAISES OVER $2,700 FOR LOCAL CHARITIES (2007)
$2,765 will be going to local charities this holiday season, thanks to those who generously bid on wreaths in Museum Strathroy-Caradoc’s Silent Night Exhibit and Auction. Over 100 bids were made on 27 wreaths during the two-week long silent auction.

Over the past five years the Museum’s Silent Night Exhibit & Auction has raised over $17,000 in support of local charities. The annual community event was brought downtown this year, where storefronts were festively adorned with beautifully decorated wreaths.

Wreaths and their winning bids can be viewed by clicking here.
