    VOLUNTEER

    Join Museum Strathroy-Caradoc for a dynamic and engaging volunteer experience. Each year many community volunteers contribute their time, energy and expertise to fulfilling our mission.

    In order to achieve our ambitious goals, the Museum relies heavily on the participation of community volunteers. There are numerous volunteer opportunities available; from assisting with research requests, helping with the organization of the collection, volunteering at special events, or serving as a Museum attendant to welcome visitors to our new gallery.     Profound and fascinating, history touches every aspect of our lives. As a not-for-profit community museum, Museum Strathroy-Caradoc is committed to sharing the wonders of our natural and cultural heritage through exhibitions, educational programs and research. Its permanent collection represents the efforts of nearly 35 years of collecting, and its work supports the conservation of Strathroy-Caradoc's rich history!

    WAYS OF GIVING

    Gifts of Cash
    As a community driven, non-profit organization, the Museum depends on the support of the community to offer quality exhibitions, programs and services. Tax receipts are available for cash donations over $20.


    Museum Donation Box


    Gifts in Kind
    As a non-profit corporation, the Museum can issue income tax receipts for the appraised value of gifts in kind, such as artifact donations.

    Legacy Giving
    By remembering the Museum Foundation in your will, you can leave a legacy that supports your interests at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc. Undesignated bequests are particularly valued because they allow the Museum to apply the principal and/or income to the Museum's highest priorities. Your estate will receive a donation receipt for the full amount of the bequest, which can assist in reducing the tax payable on your final income tax return.

    SydenhamDiscovery aquarium feature.


    Sponsorship
    Corporate sponsorship at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc offers your company a unique spectrum of marketing opportunities. We will work with you to ensure that your company's expectations and the Museum's promotional goals are met through a dynamic and flexible working relationship.

    BECOME A MEMBER

    We invite you to become a member of Museum Strathroy-Caradoc and Discover Our Story! Your membership will help to support our community museum, dedicated specifically to the preservation and interpretation of this community’s rich heritage.

    The cost of membership is $10 Canadian per year and includes the quarterly Museum newsletter and advance notification of special events. All funds collected are used to develop Museum educational programs, exhibits and services. Memberships are renewed on an annual basis.
