Take an exciting journey through one of Ontario’s most charming and biologically diverse regions, explore the aquatic life and geography of the Sydenham, get to know the people who came to its forests and built its villages, and experience the life of an early European settler through the educational and interactive game component.



Discover Over 20,000 Artifacts In the Museum's New Digital Catalogue

Over the past several years, Museum staff and volunteers have worked diligently to catalogue over 20,000 items in the Museum Collection, complete with digital images. Visitors can now browse the collection (by appointment) for everything from thimbles to grand pianos!

SESQUICENTENNIAL: Strathroy Celebrates 150 Years!
April 10, 2010 - February 6, 2011

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc invites you to help us celebrate Strathroy’s 150th anniversary in 2010 with an engaging exhibit that will interpret the rich history of the community. The village of Strathroy was officially incorporated on June 24, 1859. Through artifacts, images, and an interactive website, the museum will trace the development of Strathroy to mark the Sesquicentennial year. Museum Gallery

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc has relocated to the downtown core of Strathroy - after over 34 years in its former location on Oxford Street - to better serve the Strathroy-Caradoc community. This exciting redevelopment project has involved both new construction and renovations to integrate the Museum with the Strathroy Public Library and Art Gallery at 34 Frank Street, Strathroy. Visit the museum regularly to view a host of rotating local history displays from the museum collection and engaging travelling exhibitions from museums accross Canada!

STRATHROY & DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Museum Strathroy-Caradoc is proud to help the Strathroy & District Historical Society promote their regular society meetings on our website. The society meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00pm at the Strathroy & Area Seniors Centre, located at 137 Frank Street. Each evening features a discussion on a topic of local history.
